Crafting Fun with Kids: Make Your Own Flower Ring

Flower Rings Earth Day Mother's DAy

If you don’t have any buttercups of your own for seeing if you like butter! Here is a pattern for you to make them! This is an excellent activity for science inquiry.  You need bright yellow card stock, ribbon, the pattern and a hole punch. Of if you would like to make the flowers a different color just pick the color you like!

You can find the pattern for the flower ring here:  flower  The pattern has nine flowers on it.  Each ring needs two flowers for the version shown in the picture.  You could add another layer if you like.  I picked a yellow ribbon to make a buttercup ring.
