I am so excited to be a guest blogger on GoNoodle. Below is the post showing the children’s writing.
GoNoodle has become such an important part of my classroom that I can’t imagine being without it and neither can the children. We have a GoNoodle habit and we don’t want to suppress it! We GoNoodle in the morning to activate our brains. We GoNoodle after lunch everyday to keep that carb slump away. It gives us energy for the afternoon. The children love the mascots or pets as some of them call them. They cheer when it is GoNoodle time and best of all they smile. I know without a doubt GoNoodle has made our classroom a happier place to be. Happy relaxed children learn better and happy relaxed teachers are better teachers. I asked the children to tell me about GoNoodle and here is what they think! This is straight from their activated brains!
As you can see the children love GoNoodle. These were written by a boy, a girl, a child who immigrated from Sudan and a child with Asian heritage. GoNoodle is enjoyed by all! They are all in first grade. Raising the happiness quotient in your classroom brings the added benefits of children getting along, energy for learning and most importantly happiness! Recently our whole faculty and the principal danced to Shake Your Foot. It was a blast seeing all those happy faces after an afternoon of staff development. So you see we won’t be giving up our GoNoodle habit anytime soon because happiness is contagious!
