Martin Luther King Day Close Reading
Here is a link for a close reading activity for I Have a Dream from my first grade classroom. I love this book. The illustrations are perfect….. to me at least. They speak so loudly you don’t have to read this words unless you want to.
Reading this book with children and listening to their ideas was pure joy. The children wanted to look at this book again and again.
