Math Centers Transportation Theme Math Lessons 1st Grade Kindergarten

These transportation themed math centers will be a big hit in the classroom. Students in Kindergarten or First grade will practice their math skills using these centers.

Students love these Transportation Themed Math Centers

Let’s Go! Go! Students love vehicles! Build on that love by having students practice their math skills in the classroom.

Included in the Transporation Themed Math Centers:

• The graphing activity has two variations for recording so you can pick the one that best fits your classroom.
• For the Grab Bag Graph you will need to print the cards and your choice of recording sheet. You will need a small container to hold the cards that the children can reach into.
• The -1 Matching Game and the Ten Frames cards will last longer if you print them on cardstock and laminate if you can.
• The Ten Frames are used for the adding three addends activity but the uses of ten frames are many. You can use them for matching or an add 1 game. I love ten frames!!
• The 120’s chart is for recognizing number order and for identifying even numbers.
• For the Bump It Game you will need three dice and markers. In my classroom this activity is played by one, two or three players on a single board.
• Adding by 10 is moving down the 120’s chart by adding ten.
